Wow the store itself is so nice. However I did not watch all the prices but when I looked 8.99 for hotdogs. But it was to late I had left the store.. I left with 3 bags and it cost me 70.00 and one bag had 2 boxes of chips. Their prices are why to high. I went in once but never again will I pay these crazy prices. This store will not do good in the fort not with these prices. Like I said 8.99 for hotdogs come on..bit if you want to pay more then that is the store for you. I watched and people were only coming out with a few things.that should of been a sign before I went in and payed way to much. For what I payed today I could of come out with a week and a half of food at coop so I will be staying with coop.
Good deals! Always head there to get a couple things and end up walking out with $150 worth of groceries because there are such great deals! But would be nice if they brought the boxes back as I dont like using bags and boxes were very handy! Staff are great! There is one gentleman that works the till. He is extremely funny and everytime my boyfriend and I come in we always talk about deals! He is great! And does very well at his job! I'll have to get his name next time as he is tall, skinny and wears glasses and I think he drives a van! But I really hope they appreciate him as he is the one of the reasons we come back!
No Frills is as advertised, nothing frilly just the basics. The produce they stock is consistently the best available for chain markets so whoever is in charge of that is doing a great job. Produce prices are usually better than most anywhere else, including Costco. I usually find that if they don't have a certain fruit or veg any given week, you won't find it of a quality worth taking home at a different store. They also carry a few exotics that are good quality at decent prices. Not a huge selection of fresh meat, and prices are average. The bulk buys they do on pork and chicken can get you some good bargains occasionally. Beef is rarely on serious sale (here or anywhere really). Dairy is well priced, and you can often find some killer sales on things like yogurt and cottage cheese. 'Processed' meat, bacon, and prepared items like fresh pasta, etc are average to low-average prices and again, you can sometimes get in on good sales. The dry and canned goods are slightly better priced than Superstore in general, but sometimes the price difference for the same item is significant. This is also true when compared with other large markets. However, you will run across things that are silly expensive for no reason. So it's good to know what reasonable prices are for the items you normally buy. They don't have an in-store bakery so the bread is from 3rd party vendors. They don't carry a lot in terms of volume but you will usually be able to find what you need. There's lots of parking, the staff is friendly, and the store is clean. Shelves are well stocked. You do pack your own groceries, so make sure you BYOB if you don't like paying for the smaller yellow plastic bags.Overall, I shop here about 3 times per month because it is a bit out of the way for me since I changed jobs. That said, I am happy to do my big grocery shopping here because I'm confident in the prices and quality. I do recommend NF to my friends - the ones that don't already shop there.
Honestly I used to love coming to no frills dont get me wrong I still enjoy staff member chris as he is extremely friendly and funny! But I'm so sick and tired of using their disgusting bathrooms, like everytime I go they cant even put toilet paper on a roller and everything is broken in the washrooms. They are just filthy, they also no longer carry boxes which makes me upset as we are now just adding to the plastic waste around the world. Also what happened to the refrigerated almond breeze milk? You stopped selling it. We are starting to find reasons to go to other places such as walmart and freson bros. As they carry what we need and the bathrooms are kept up on.
best prices in the fort, and I I think fruit and veg quality is better than Wal-Mart and freson bros
