Overall good quality products. A lot of care goes into maintaining produce displays. Checkouts chronically understaffed.
Nice clean store. Lots of selection but tends to be very expensive. Staff are nice and helpful though. Produce is excellent. Nice flower department. Adequate parking.
Very pleasant the people and enviroment is positive and the food and produce is good you dont see bronzing vegtables or meat thats almost at its expiry date unlike no frills in Edmonton where you see bread and meats that are aboit to expire still on the shelves and vegetables and fruits going bad
I love going to Safeway. The prepared food section is the best in town. Produce and bakery are great. Best quality grocery store in town. Prices are slightly higher but worth it. Oh and they don't charge for bags! I love that they also have a Starbucks. Only thing they could work on is having more than 1 cashier. Usually I am waiting for a while even if I go to express with only a few items.
Huge, bright, and clean supermarket. They have a good selection of items in each category. They also have a deli, fresh flowers, and a Starbucks inside. Prices are just a bit more compared to Walmart, but you can get good discounts with a Safeway card. They also have free WiFi for shoppers. Theres ample parking in front.
