Unfortunately it is impossible to rate 0 stars for this business as this is the review that they deserve. I have been a patient of Dr. Gauri for approximately 6 years, during that time I have seen nothing but a decline in availability and customer service.I called in today to report that I have had to get my pharmacist to renew my medical prescriptions because of the flakey availability of this clinic, constantly closed, "on vacation" or not answering the phone.I had the great displeasure of talking to an absolute gem of a receptionist named Patricia. After telling her my concerns and asking if we could set up an automatic renewal of my prescriptions and a scheduled visit (quarterly...) so that we can avoid these issues, I was told that there is no way to renew my prescription without seeing the doctor. Of course, I brought the issue up again that, I have been attempting to see him on several occasions and that this is the whole issue. I can not just randomly show up, hoping that the office will be open, I do not live in the vicinity. I was then told that if I didn't like the service I was receiving, I could look for another doctor. I told her that she is not only rude and insulting, but is providing very poor customer service for a patient that has been seeing Dr. Gauri for over 5 years and I would like to speak with him. She responded by saying:"ya, he doesn't take phone calls". I told her that her attitude was completely unacceptable. She then said with a very snarky attitude "oh well, sorry you feel that way, is there anything else I can help you with?" I said, you haven't actually helped me with anything, you've just been extremely rude, unhelpful and you are terrible at customer service. She then laughed and hung up on me.Based upon my recent service and many similar experiences over the years, I will 100% be changing doctors, and filing a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Hopefully, this Doctor and his practice smarten the hell up, hire professional staff, stop taking so much time off and provide the service that my tax dollars pay for. If not, shut down and open a business they are more qualified for. Suggestion: nothing involving the public. I would not recommend this Doctor, his practice and definitely his administrative staff to anyone, at any time, for any reason. 0 STARS!!!
